You should have the radio stay on the color you choose after you click the button.

The radio's only change the input boxes at the bottom.. you can customize freely!

I think the ideal solution to a theme system is to allow users to upload stylesheets to change the look of the site.

You probably want to keep control of most elements, but a second stylesheet could override certain styles.
